• Barcodes
  What are bar codes and how they can be used? The some of the principles outlined here can also be used, in part, for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as well.
• LIMS Interfaces
  If the LIMS is not interfaced to analytical instrumentation within the laboratory or systems outside of the laboratory, there is little point in proceeding with the project. There will never be a payback from the system and all that will be implemented is an expensive electronic typewriter. Consider interfacing applications inside and outside the laboratory.
